Engr. Kurutsi Tabki Joshua is a highly accomplished Electrical Engineer with more than 12 years of professional experience spanning power systems, renewable energy, oil & gas, ICT, manufacturing, energy policy, and regulatory compliance. He currently serves as a Manager at the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA), the nation's sole regulatory enforcement authority for electrical installations and equipment.

In this role, he leads critical operations in electricity meter testing, calibration, and certification, while also overseeing solar mini-grid installations, network inspections, and compliance enforcement across the power sector. His expertise extends to SCADA-enabled monitoring systems, predictive analytics, and smart grid technologies, making him a key contributor to Nigeria's transition towards cleaner and more efficient energy systems.

Joshua's leadership and technical acumen have earned him national and international recognition. He has played a vital role in shaping Nigeria's energy future through his involvement in the National Energy Master Plan, the 2023 Electricity Law, Siemens Power Project, and Energy Transition Policy. His professional excellence has been acknowledged through numerous awards, including the Mandela Washington Fellowship Award (2022), the NEMSA MD/CEO's Award for Exceptional Contribution (2023), and the Honorary Citizenship of Davis, California (2022).

He is a COREN-registered engineer, a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Beyond his technical contributions, Joshua is committed to community development, leadership, and knowledge sharing, having volunteered in renewable energy initiatives, youth mentorship programs, and international leadership forums.

Joshua holds a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of East London (UK), with a focus on strategic management and organizational leadership. He has also earned certifications from globally recognized institutions, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of California, Davis.
